Beautiful Sasanian drachm in the name of Shah Hormizd IV Torkzad (579-590 AD).
It was struck in the 4th year of his reign (582-583 AD) in the mint of Veh-Antiok-Khosrow (Asōristān).
It was issued in the middle of the reign and during the Caucasus war against the Byzantine Empire of Maurice.
He wins this war and install Khosrow II son of Hormizd IV on the Sasanan throne.
