Beautiful Sasanian drachm in the name of Khosrow II Parviz (590-628 AD).
It was struck in the 37th year of his reign (626-627 AD) in the mint of Furat Meshan.
After the rout in front of Heraclius, the Sassanid empire will sink into anarchy and succession disputes that lead the Empire to the Muslim conquest of Persia.
