Beautiful Sasanian drachm in the name of Shah Hormizd IV Torkzad (579-590 AD).
It was struck in the 6th year of his reign (584-585 AD) in the mint of Veh-Antiok-Khosrow (Asōristān).
It was issued in the middle of his reign and during the Caucasus war against the Byzantine Empire of Maurice.
This one won this war and established Khosrow II son of Hormizd IV as Shah of the Sasanian empire.
This same year was born in Arabia Khalid ibn al-Walid future general who will crush the Byzantine Empire in the levant and will destroy the Sasanian empire for ever.
